MTSS Supports + Resources
A new dashboard designed for counselors and support staff allows for streamlined data review, intervention planning, and delivery. This tool enhances the ability to make informed decisions that aid student success. Additionally, Wayfinder has integrated supplemental MTSS implementation support documents, including student nomination forms and family letters, to keep students and families engaged throughout the educational journey.
Accessibility Updates
Accessibility updates include the ability to activate content-specific learning supports and utilize filters in the Activity Library, making educational content accessible to all students. Get tips on how to make activities more accessible, explore filters in the Activity Library, and use the AccessiBe widget to create a more equitable user experience for all students.
Family Engagement Enhancements
The app now contains ready-to-send Family Letters that highlight what students are learning and include activities for families to do together at home.
These letters are available for download in English and Spanish, ensuring that families are kept informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
Ability to Co-Create Collections
Educators can now co-create Collections that are relevant and meaningful to their students. Whether it's sharing access to custom Collections with colleagues or setting permissions for contributors, educators have the flexibility to create tailored resources for their students based on the needs they see in real-time.
Brand New: Wayfinder Favorites Collections
The Wayfinder Favorites Collections are a great resource for educators looking for quick and efficient SEL instruction.
With zero-prep and extension activities for each grade level, educators can easily deliver supplementary instruction to support their students' social-emotional learning.
Featured Content
Administrators also have the ability to customize content for educators, assign featured content on dashboards, and view completion rates. This level of customization allows for a more personalized experience for both educators and students, with full visibility for administrators.
K-2 Instructional Toolkit + Enhancements
Our new K-2 Instructional Toolkits are designed to support educators in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for young students.
This toolkit includes How-To Activity Cards to help establish smooth and consistent classroom routines and Calming Cards to support students with mindfulness. For Kindergarten classes, the Super Sea Star plushie serves as an adorable instructional companion, making learning engaging and fun.
The toolkit also features a printed Core Skills poster, which visually reinforces the Wayfinder skills critical for student development. Moreover, the Kindergarten lesson slide decks are updated to engage students and improve educational outcomes.
Summative Waypoints for Grades 3-5
Summative Waypoints are an essential tool for educators teaching grades 3-5, designed to track students' progress in Core Skills throughout the academic year. Administer assessments during strategic times of the year: at the onset of the school year to establish a baseline, mid-year to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary, and at the year's end to evaluate the student's development and the effectiveness of the instruction provided.
Customizable Data Dashboards
With the ability to create tailored dashboards, users can handpick widgets from a comprehensive menu so they only see the most relevant information on their homepage. Dashboards can be modified at any time, adapting to evolving requirements or shifting focuses.
This level of customization not only enhances data visibility but also significantly boosts efficiency and decision-making processes.
